Thanks so much to you and the team. Firstly to you for all your help and patience in getting the orders right. Your support was really appreciated. Nothing was too much bother and you accommodated our needs perfectly.
To our chefs on Saturday…and I apologise for forgetting their names but there were so many names that night! Quite simply they were brilliant! They appeared on time, sorted the kitchen and just got on with it, coping brilliantly with minor interruptions from Sara and I for water, plates and knives, and leaving the kitchen spotless before they left. No fuss just quiet professionalism.
It made our job of organising so simple. All we had to do was manage the stampede when supper was served and no wastage as all the ‘spares’ were snaffled up!
Our German friends were especially excited about having fish and chips and the compliments and smiles from both them and our choir members said it all. They particularly loved the crispy batter! A special mention of thanks for those with specific dietary needs – one lady expressed surprise that we had taken such care and all were really appreciative.
