Catering for 50’s themed Wedding
Thank you so much to Jacksons catering!! I contacted 3 companies for a BBQ/hog catering quote, Matt replied quickly and politely. We discussed our requirements and advised him it was a village hall reception with 1950s theme. He suggested a popcorn and candyfloss machine.
Matt delt perfectly with our constant queries and ever changing requirements. Once we realised it was definetly going to rain he pitched up in a tiny corner of the hall, nothing was too much trouble.
The food was delicious and filling (it even wasn’t a problem that we added a few bits and pieces to the salads ourselves).
They cleared themselves up and were replaced by the popcorn and candyfloss machines. These went down a storm and everyone thought it was an amazing idea!!!
This style suited our wedding perfectly and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jacksons catering at all.

Afternoon Tea at St Mary’s Lighthouse
Thank you, the afternoon tea at the Lighthouse was perfect!! Just right for our day. The staff were friendly, efficient and helpful and the food quality was excellent!! Particular comments were made about how good the pork pies were!!! All enjoyed it thoroughly!

Yarm Wedding
Thank you for all your help planning what we needed and helping us to make decisions about food choices and the requirements for the day. And thank you to all the wonderful staff for such fantastic food and incredible service. All the staff were friendly and extremely hard working. They made everything run smoothly. We cannot fault them. Beth was great, greeting us with a very much needed glass of bubbly on arrival and she kept us informed of everything all evening.
The food was absolutely delicious! Many of our guests commented on how delicious it was. Some had expected ‘typical wedding food’ and were very pleasantly surprised by how fab the food was.
We had a lot of guests and the catering team and bar staff were just great! It wasn’t just the food and service, but the additional touches that you did for us, such as switching the candles and lights on, setting out the tables, cutting up the cake etc. We will definitely be recommending you to anyone who needs caterers for weddings or other events! Please pass on our thanks to everyone who came to work at our wedding.
Durham Wedding
The evening catering served was really tasty and many guests commented on how pleased they were with the selection and amount of food they were offered.
Everything was piping hot and the guests got served quickly. The staff were polite and friendly and checked in throughout the evening.
My now husband and I were really pleased with the catering and would not hesitate to recommend Jacksons to family and friends.

Wedding with 3 course meal
Jacob and Tori catered for my daughter’s wedding in December 2015 and I cannot speak highly enough of the service we received.
From start to finish, nothing was too much trouble for Matt, who dealt with every stage of the planning and responded to emails immediately, whatever the time of day or night! Every request was accommodated and when changes were made, even right up to the last few days, he just took them in his stride.
The service on the day was excellent, with all the staff being friendly, unobtrusive and highly professional, as they served a formal 3-course meal to around 150 guests, then started all over again to serve 300 hot roast sandwiches in the evening.
Jacob and Tori provided an excellent service and value for money, and I would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone planning an event, large or small.

Both me and Billy want to say a huge big thank you to yourself for being so amazing throughout the whole process, felt so at ease. Your staff, all of them were brilliant, very informative and all of the guests said fabulous comments. The food all went which is a great sign, from start to finish with the little nibbles to the desserts/tea and coffee it was all lovely. I never got to taste night time food, I did see it all went though, there must of been some hungry folk around. You should be very proud of your staff, they did a great job. We would definitely recommend your services to other people and the best man did give your company a mention in his speech. All went very well, thank you so much.

”We used Tori & Jacob for our wedding in July this year. From the first moment we met Matt we were really impressed. He was very knowledgeable about the food and wine to accompany the meal offering recommendations where appropriate. Matt visited our house to discuss what we wanted then invited use to try his food which was exquisite. Matt was very reassuring and always prompt on his replies to us. His relaxed approach put you very at ease and no job was ever of any bother to him. We submitted our dietary requirements to him and there was not one problem on the day.
